Anonymous hacks European Parliament website

[Blottr] The hacking of the site came moments after the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, an international treaty aiming to harmonise intellectual copyright protection standards across a number of industries, was signed.
Opponents have hit out at the legislation for what they argue has been a secretive consultation.

The group had earlier sent a warning on Twitter, reading: "#ACTA Will Be Signed by the European Union and Member State Territories tomorrow - EXPECT US." Yesterday the Irish justice ministry website was hacked, followed by the leaking of email addresses of all Irish parliamentarians.

They also hacked vlada.cz - the Czech government website and took down italia.gov - the Italian government website.
